Knowledge Sharing and Leader-Member Exchange Impact on Employee Performance: The Mediating Role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior

Abstract

This study analyzes how Knowledge Sharing and Leader Member Exchange affect employee performance at Alam Sunda Restaurant, with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as a mediator. Using quantitative methods and questionnaires from 80 selected employees, findings show that both Knowledge Sharing and Leader Member Exchange positively impact OCB, which in turn boosts employee performance. OCB also mediates the effects of Knowledge Sharing and Leader Member Exchange on performance. The research offers practical and theoretical insights for enhancing human resource management and operational efficiency through improved knowledge sharing, leader-employee relationships, and supportive behaviors.
