The Journal of Industrial and Organizational Performance Engineering (JIOPE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes applied research, empirical studies, and technical analyses related to the measurement, evaluation, and improvement of performance in industrial and organizational systems. The journal emphasizes engineering-based approaches to enhancing productivity, quality, operational reliability, risk control, and evidence-based decision making within complex organizational environments.
Scope
The journal welcomes original research articles, technical papers, systematic literature reviews (SLR), and case studies in, but not limited to, the following areas:
1. Industrial and Operations Performance Engineering
Productivity analysis and improvement, process optimization, operational efficiency, lean systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance enhancement in both production and service operations.
2. Organizational Systems and Performance Management
Engineering-based approaches to organizational performance measurement, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), system effectiveness evaluation, governance analysis, and data-driven decision support.
3. Quality, Reliability, and Risk Engineering
Quality management systems and quality engineering methods, reliability analysis, system dependability, risk assessment, and performance assurance in complex operational systems.
4. Management Systems and International Standards Implementation
Engineering-based evaluation and performance assessment of management systems, including the implementation of internationally recognized standards and integrated management system approaches.
5. Applied Organizational Contexts
System-oriented and engineering-based studies applied across various sectors, including manufacturing industries, service organizations, healthcare institutions, government agencies, educational and training institutions, and other organizational environments.
